Interestingly, last year I wanted to participate in a competition for prose.ru, I've sent several of my works, but they were rejected as unfit for this competition. This year, several times I have already received an email that I am nominated for this very competition of this year, and they did not even indicate which work is nominated. I've checked - it turned out that the nomination was accompanied by a publication in the almanac, but this publication is not free. My tiny story "The Devil's Trills" would cost me $ 200-300 to submit. This is the reason for such an unreasonable nomination! Somehow, I don't want to participate anymore ...
